Our work can involve general matters such as;
Conservation area reviews – litter – front gardens – parking – bus shelters – local newspapers – pedestrianisation schemes and crossing facilities – train and road transport matters – design briefs for major sites and schedules of listed buildings and buildings of special interest.
The Society is on the Oadby and Wigston Borough Council’s list of organizations which should be consulted on planning matters in the conservation areas which gives members a golden chance to influence decision making at local authority level..
