   TWO STEEPLES WALK RELAUNCH IN 2016


Wednesday 1 June 2016 @ 10.00am

The Mayor Of Oadby & Wigston Will Be In Attendance To Start The Walk

The ‘Two Steeples Walk’ was established by the Wigston Civic Society as a Millennium project. It is a ten-mile circular (nearly) walk starting at St Wistans church passing along the Meres and then through Newton Harcourt, Wistow, Kilby, Kilby Bridge, Double Rail Lock, Rally Bridge and through Little Hill estate and finishing at All Saints Church.


The walk, on St. Wistan’s Day,  will be in three stages:

St. Wistan’s to Wistow (Tea Rooms) – Approx 4 Miles – Start 10.00am

Wistow to Kilby Bridge/Navigation Inn – Approx 3.5 Miles – Leave 12.30pm

Kilby Bridge to All Saint’s Church – Approx 2.5 Miles – Leave 2.30pm


THERE WILL BE A LEADER ON EACH STAGE OF THE WALK

ALL TIMINGS ARE APPROXIMATE DEPENDANT ON THE WEATHER & THE AMOUNT OF WALKERS
